F.A.Q
Q: What happened to The Killing Moon and how does this comic connect to it?
A: The Killing Moon started getting to the point where I couldn't dig myself out of what I was in and into what I wanted. The story just wasn't going the way I wanted it to and there was no real way for me to get out of it. So I've decided to start over. It might be a little confusing to people that read TKM before this because it contains the same main character, especially since almost none of the TKM storyline is carrying over with it. The timeline is completely different. I know it's horrible and confusing, but I see Syd as a representation of myself and her life and timeline were just far too different from mine. Not that I want them to be exactly the same (this would be awkward for the other people invovled), but I don't want them to be as different as they were getting.

Q: How exactly does breeding work with the oddly matched couples?
A: I wrote out a long thing on this that I'm considering typing, but generally, the children take on the species of the mother and the colors or markings available to the species of the father. (Meaning if a female beagle and a male tiger breed, the children will look like beagles, but they can have any combination of organe, white, black, with or without stripes).

Q: So What about Shaun?
A: It's kind of long to explain, but essentially the way the genes work there's a very slight chance that a male offspring will recieve traits of the male parent. In this case, his mother was a wolf and his father was a moose and he recieved small horns, a mixed nose, a short tail, and hoof-like fingers. There's more going on from this on whether or not he could pass this down, but it's a little too deep to go into on this page.

Q: Can I be in your comic?
A: No. I'm sorry. Unless you're REALLY good friends with me, no. In TKM I ended up with far more characters than I wanted to deal with because everyone wanted to appear in the comic, so this time around I'm limiting it to where people fit or if I actually find them an important point in the story or something. Sorry.

Q: Will you draw me something?
A: Unless you want to part with some money, no. I only draw free art for friends or people I greatly admire and want to draw something for. Because I actually want to live off this someday I don't feel I should have to draw people things for free unless I really want to. You wouldn't ask a doctor to do their job for free, would you?

Q: Who are your characters supposed to be? Do they actually represent real people?
A: If you know me well enough then you can probably tell who each person's supposed to be, but other than that it seems pointless to explain. As for their representation...they aren't all that accurate. Their personalities are usually really different than their real counterparts just because it's easier to write when I can make up their personalities as opposed to trying to create fictional situations and decide how someone else would react to them. So yeah, they're kinda supposed to represent someone, but they are in no way that person entirely or sometimes even at all.

Q: How do you make your comics?
A: I've gone through many processes over the years and I'll probably go through many more, but for right now these are the two methods I use. For one, I print out premade templates and draw in them using either a non-photo blue or a red pencil, then go over that in mechanical pencil (sometimes I do straight pencil because the colored pencils erase weird), I then ink straight over the pencil and scan that in. I use that method for TKM and DWS. For this comic and title track I'm going to do my rough drafts differently, using different sized boxes and such. I'm then going to be drawing on manga paper, drawing out my own boxes seperately each time. Drawing in pencil, inking. Then either using colored pencil, painter, or photoshop if I decide to color. Fun times.

Q: Have you drawn any other comics?
A: Besides TKM, I am still currently drawing Dancing With Strangers, my fancomic. I also had a comic back in middle school called Life of Geek. I think the website is still up somewhere, but the comics and art are gone, thankfully.

Q: So...I'm confused. Where do you live now?
A: The moon. No, I know this is getting weird. I'm origianlly from Southern California. On a stupid whim I moved to Massachusetts to go to college because my boyfriend at the time lived there. We broke up and I realized I'm a moron and am in the process of moving BACK to California. Or the moon, whichever is easier.

Q: So...are you one of those furry things?
A: Yes and no. I consider myself a furry, but compared to the lengths other furries go to to show their...furriness, I am not. I don't dress up (mainly because those things are friggin' expensive), I just draw anthro animals. A lot. I'd like to get to know more furs in person and maybe go to a con, but I'm small and intimidated by a lot of things and I'm weird enough as it is, I don't need to wear a suit and act crazy for no reason for attention to complain about.

Q: Ewww, furry.
A: 1) That's not a question, dumbass. 2) If you're really that bothered/weirded out/offended by a fact I'm a furry then I don't know why the hell you're here. Just leave and leave me alone. I don't need some moron emailing me to tell me how I'm a gross furfag or something when it's so much easier for them to just leave my site. Plus, I feel you don't need to be a furry to enjoy the art. So just shup up and either go away or enjoy it without making dumb assumptions.
